Referral cash program terms

• Share a listing with your own DoBid link. The person you refer has to open it before they bid on that listing.
• If they win and the seller confirms pickup and payment, your reward is created.
• Rewards are held for 14 days, then become available to cash out.
• Cash out once your available rewards add up to $25 or more.
• DoBid reviews each cash-out and sends it by Interac e-Transfer. Your bank may take additional time.

You can't refer yourself, the seller can't earn on their own listing, and a share that nobody opens before the first bid doesn't earn.

Only the first person whose referral link the buyer opened for that listing can earn on it, and the link has to be opened before that buyer's first bid on the listing. Test listings and test accounts don't earn.

A reward is created when the seller confirms pickup and payment. It's held for 14 days, then becomes available to cash out. Nothing is being reviewed during the hold — it's a waiting period.

Cash out once your available rewards add up to $25 or more. DoBid reviews each cash-out request before sending it. Payment is sent by Interac e-Transfer and your bank may take additional time.

If a reward or a request looks like it may break these rules, DoBid may hold it for review and will record the reason.

Canada only. Cash is sent by Interac e-Transfer to a Canadian email address or mobile number.

The email address or mobile number you give us for payment is private. Other members can't see it, and DoBid staff only see it when a payment is being sent — every look at it is recorded.

You are responsible for any taxes that apply to referral cash you receive. DoBid may ask you for information needed for reporting.

DoBid can change or end this program at any time going forward. Rewards you have already earned and had approved are not taken back.

Referral cash is separate from a DoBid transaction. Transacting on DoBid is free, buyers pay sellers directly at pickup, and the commitment hold is unaffected by this program. Referral cash is not a wallet, a stored balance, or credit toward a purchase.
