Pricing
Free to list and bid
Buyers pay 10% only when the seller accepts their winning bid.
If the seller accepts your winning bid, DoBid authorizes and immediately captures the 10% buyer fee from your saved card.
Free to list
Sellers can list items for free — for now.
10% success fee
DoBid captures the buyer's 10% card authorization when the seller accepts.
Pay the seller in person
The buyer pays the seller the accepted item price directly, in person, at pickup.
What if the bidding ends too low?
You do not have to sell. After the auction closes, you have 48 hours to accept or decline the highest offer. If it is not enough, decline it and the sale does not move forward.

When the buyer fee is charged
Listing and bidding are free. When a seller accepts your winning bid, DoBid authorizes and immediately captures 10% from your saved card as the buyer fee. You pay the item price separately to the seller at pickup. If the seller declines or does not accept, DoBid charges nothing. The buyer fee is 10% of the accepted offer (minimum $1, maximum $1,000).
What DoBid does
- Runs the platform, auction tools, and pickup messaging
- Captures the disclosed 10% authorization when the seller accepts
- Provides audit trails, dispute review, and admin support
What DoBid does not do
- DoBid does not collect the item price
- DoBid does not pay the seller
- The 10% fee is separate from the seller's item payment
- Nothing is charged or held when you place a bid
Why we still ask for a card on file
- A valid card confirms you're a real buyer and keeps auctions serious.
- If the seller accepts your winning bid, the 10% authorization is captured as DoBid's buyer fee.
