Bidding closes Thursday
Auctions close Thursday evening, between 6 and 8 PM, staggered so they don't all end at once. A bid in the final 2 minutes extends the close by 2 minutes — repeating until 2 quiet minutes pass — so a last-second bid can never steal an auction.

If accepted, complete the pickup
When the seller accepts, messaging opens and you have 4 days to complete the pickup. You pay the seller directly, in person.

When an auction ends, DoBid does not automatically force the seller to sell. The seller reviews the highest offer and decides whether to accept or decline within a 48-hour decision window.

Pickup happens
- • After the auction ends, the seller has 48 hours to accept or decline the highest offer.
- • If the seller accepts, DoBid charges the buyer a 10% fee and the buyer pays the seller separately at pickup.
- • If the seller declines or does not respond within 48 hours, the transaction does not move forward.

If the seller accepts your winning bid, DoBid authorizes and immediately captures the 10% buyer fee from your saved card.
If the seller accepts
The buyer pays the seller the accepted item price directly in person at pickup. DoBid separately charges the 10% buyer fee to the buyer's saved card when the seller accepts.
